RFQ Questions
What do you need to quote my tooling job?
Hole sizes, material type and thickness, and your press information — plus a dimensional drawing or part print. Part gauging requirements help too. Send it all through the RFQ form with your drawing attached.
What drawing file formats can I send?
PDF, DXF, DWG and STEP files, plus JPG or PNG photos/sketches. If you only have a hand sketch or a sample part, contact us — we review those too.
What materials and thicknesses do your dies handle?
Steel, aluminum and composite materials. Flat-stock shearing dies cover material up to 1/4 in mild steel at shear widths up to 20 in, and angle-iron shearing dies to 2 x 2 x 1/4 in angle. We also build tooling for aluminum extrusions, tube and pipe, and brake or roll formed parts.
Do you repair or rebuild existing dies?
Yes. Send your existing die for evaluation and we will promptly quote a repair cost — the goal is avoiding costly production downtime. Die maintenance and general machining are also available.
What presses does your tooling fit?
Dies are built for punch presses, press brakes, iron workers, and air or hydraulic systems. Self-contained dies mount to your specific job application — include your press info when requesting a quote.
How long does a quote or build take?
